I have 2 roku's neither plays app. Takes your money won't deliver product. Support is none existing , no login, inactive channel.

Added this tonight and watched a movie right away. FYI I have a Roku Stick and an older model Samsung Smart TV. (Added channel online via Roku website.) U.S. user

Great content but there is no way to do a search. This would be a 5 star channel if a search feature was added.

Using Roku's search feature, I spotted several films on Retro Reels that I wished to watch. Added the channel, and have watched two films so far.
But -- no search function on the channel itself ?! That is just insane! I will likely keep this channel for a month or two and watch all the movies I'm aware of, and then disable it. I might keep my subscription longer if there were a way to search all movies.

Same problem as other reviewers. I can only watch movies Retro Reels lists. No search available. Truly amazing that I can’t. When I do a Roku search for a specific movie, Roku says available on Retro but when I select it I just go to the site without it bringing up the movie. Very disappointing and not worth it.

This is a worthless app. We finally found the one movie we especially wanted to watch ( as others have mentioned, there is no search function), but 2/3 of the way through the movie it quit playing. We brought it up again, and it would start over again at the beginning. It would let us Fast forward through the portion we had already seen but would stall out at the same point in the movie. Going back the next day, the movie is still listed on the app but when we try to play it we get an error message that says, “ this video is unavailable”. And the option to delete or uninstall the app does not exist! Roku, you need to quit offering this app until they can build an app that actually works.

I was ready to subscribe. This sounded great, until I read the reviews. I am dying to see the 1938 Christmas Carol. Can't find that one anywhere. But it would have really p /o ed me if it quit half way through. I'll watch. Maybe next year they will have made some improvements. Hope so. I'd definitely buy it.

The price (2.99/mo) is what other channels ask for a single show so I decided to give it a try for a month. (There's no free trial.) I've experienced constant buffering, (every 10 seconds), throughout entire movies. I don't have this problem with any other app, so my internet speed or settings aren't the problem. Furthermore, not only is there no way to search for a film or actor, but if there is a system by which movies are listed I haven't figured it out. The only way to see what's available is to scroll through the whole random list. Since the movies are essentially unwatchable and unfindable, even at such a low rate this app isn't a good value. too bad, because there are some good classic movies on the list. I've cancelled.

Recently added app/channel worked great for a couple days now tells us movies not available. And there is no one to contact about what is happening or how to fix. Very disappointing
