The problem with remakes is that they are usually based on movies that are already famous, otherwise known as good movies. Remakes have been around since the beginning of cinema. Some of your favorite flicks could be remakes and you don't even know it. The Originals is the place to see the first take on Jack the giant killer (1962), Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959) a mind-blowing science-fiction horror film and Unwed Mother (1958).
